The iHSS57-XX stepper motors are a unit consisting of stepper motor, encoder and output stage, making the system very compact and space-saving. The position evaluation is done by an optical encoder with high speed scanning of 50 μs. As soon as a position deviation appears, it is compensated immediately. This product, combines the advantages of stepper motor drive and servo drive, such as less heat generation, less vibration, lower power consumption and high dynamics.
In most cases, these drives are ready for immediate use and do not require complex tuning like servo motors to run stable.
